Advantages: Farm Club Meats provide prices and product info in the most transparent and clear presentation as it gets. A wide variety of products are available with a page dedicated to sourcing information and suppliers. You don't need to spend a certain amount to get the better price, and different sizes of product are available through "regular packs" and "Club Packs". A very well displayed online store also adds an easy to navigate layout that makes things user-friendly.
Disadvantages: Meat Delivery Ottawa didn't find many reviews online for Farm Club Meats. There was no phone number listed; only an email address.

Customers should apparently place their orders through email only and not through the online store. Directly from Ottawa like Prime Plus Meats, Ottawa Valley also supply the NHL's Ottawa Senators hockey team for meat & fish. Products can be purchased online or directly from the OVM store. $2516.80 was the yearly cost to purchase meat and fish, being the 4th lowest price option in our reviews.

ButcherBox.CA (Canada) is a completely different company that has a similar name and service. ButcherBox.CA/Canada ranked a respectable #5 in our reviews based on a total price below $3000 and provide an easy to order online process with large bulk order options.
The Butcher Box Canada website provides pre-selected suggested ordering boxes for customers including one seen here for a 12 week subscription.
Advantages: Simple to order online process that relates to box packages by person(s). Depending on the persons, the quantity of products you select go higher or lower on the box type. We found this creative. Sourcing information and background are listed on the website found inside the "Our Farmers" page. A #5/10 ranking overall.
Disadvantages: Price transparency lacks with ButcherBox.CA / Butcher Box Canada. We contacted the larger more well known USA company "Butcher Box" and they have no relation to the Canadian company in our reviews. ButcherBox Canada did not respond to our emails asking for direct pricing or name clarification. Only 2 companies in our reviews did not respond back in emails and ButcherBox.CA / Canada was one of them.

A very high final price for yearly bulk ordering put NutraFarms at $3652.75. Product sourcing background information is excellent, clear on the website, and NutraFarms also provide farm videos.

Disadvantages: Many emails were sent back and forth, including multiple sales representatives from NutraFarms getting back to us. They refused to give prices for specific products; price transparency is non-existent and a concern. The ordering process is complicated and not straightforward like other companies who provide an online store to purchase your meat and fish. Once again this requires a sales representative for that process also. Without knowing the specific prices of the products to help understand where the very high price comes from, NutraFarms gets into financing your orders which entails a credit check. After email communication, we received multiple text messages, and phone calls. All from just simply looking to understand the price structure and cost to order.
Canadian Home Grocers have been in business since 1994. Located in Ottawa, they provide: beef, poultry, pork, and dry goods.
